8 months old!!!

Keira is sure growing up! We turned 8 months on Tuesday! We can pull ourselves up with no problem at all. We love cruising around the house with Mommy and Daddy's help with hands. The past day or two she even wants to cruise with one hand. We are still not crawling, but we look like we are going to take off at any moment. We are trying a variety of foods, but our favorite lately is Cheerios that we can feed ourselves with. We still have no teeth. Although we saw white down below last week. (She will be twenty and we still will be waiting for teeth!)
She is a talking machine this month. When we went out to California all she babbled was "Dadda", our favorite. When we can back home, Daddy was holding her and she wanted to eat and said "mamma" two times in a row. I am counting that one! Then last Thursday, when Daddy came home we were playing on the floor with not prompts of dadda. She looked at Daddy coming in the room and then said "D", "Dadda". We are counting that one too! We are also going to count "hi". She was playing with her play phone when we were unpacking last week and all of the sudden she said "hi" all on her own. I thought she also said "dawddie" today when Maddie walked by, but I think it might be too good to be true. I will wait till it happens again.
This is night two of letting herself fall asleep and it looks like tonight took 10 minutes. Mommy was a wreck today. Keira slept from 8:30-5:45 in the morning. That has not happened in awhile. After she was up an hour she fell back asleep for another two hours. So why was mommy a wreck?
