Last weekend we took a day trip to visit Mount Vernon & Arlington National Cemetary. It was an amazing Fall day and a treat to spend the day with an amazing man, Uncle Frank. We hope everybody has the chance to visit!

Keira and Aidan posing in front of Mount Vernon. We had the chance to tour the house, which is still in great condition!

Keira in front of the largest tree, ever! We were dreaming that George himself taking a nap under this tree!

Keira and Aidan posing for a cute picture!

A family picture in front of the Potomac river. George sure had a view! Just beautiful!!

Our family with Uncle Frank.

The kids playing on the lawn! Rolling down hills and getting a ton of grass stains!

After a bite to eat, we took off to Arlington National Cemetary. It was amazing the thousands and thousands of men and woman who were laid to rest there. A sight to be seen. This section is across from where my Aunt Loretta is buried. It was an experience I will never forget having my Uncle Frank take me here. It meant the world to me. The Pentagon is right behind the row of trees to the left.

These are some more images of the cemetary.

A new statue for the the Air Force, I believe, is in the background.

Here is J.F.K.'s tomb. Very simple and understated. Next visit we will have to see the tomb of the unknown.

I cannot get over how big the kids are getting. Besides Keira's hair, she is the spittin' image of her pretty mommy. Love the pics. Love you all and miss you
